Antonio Gonzalez Antonio Gonzales is the executive director of the International Indian Treaty Council, an independent agency created by the United Nations to protect and promote the rights of indigenous peoples all over the world. Among the IITC’s many achievements is a UN study of treaties between governments and indigenous peoples worldwide; that study is due for completion this year. This is also the IITC’s first year at the Digital Be-In.
