Payson Stevens Payson Stevens could be described as the digital age's answer to the renaissance man. Trained in oceanography and art, his 25 year passion for working to expand awareness of global change and environmental issues has witnessed him wear an astounding array of hats from scientist and author to producer, director, artist, and businessman. His prototype CD-ROM science journal "Arctic Data InterActive" from InterNetwork Media, the company he founded and new serves as president of, was honored in 1994 with a Presidential Design Award for Excellence from President Bill Clinton. His film credits include a CINE Golden Eagle Award (1980) and Silver Award at the U.S. Industrial Film Festival for the National Public Television broadcast script "Antarctica: Desert of Ice, Sea of Life". He also won a Silver Medal at the International Film and TV Festival of New York (1976) for the medical documentary "Dynamics of the EHC".
