Dave de la Vega: Dave has been a life long professional in the media production field. Starting out as a photographer for a large L A photo Studio, Dave moved on to motion pictures. He has worked in the motion picture industry in several studio capacities including camera work, projectionist, special effects, lighting, and editing.

After building the first transit or (op-amp) recording studio in Hollywood, he engineered dozens of albums. Dave formed Elefunt Records in 1971 with the release of "Divine Melody" featuring Eden Ahbez. He has also built and maintained theater lighting systems for many of the venues on the Sunset Strip.

After moving to the Bay Area in 1980 and finding little work in motion pictures, he formed Elefunt Software in 1985 in Berkeley. He was a founding member of the pioneering Berkeley Macintosh Users Group. His Mac based accounting program for Mail Order/ Distribution companies called "Order House" debuted at MacWorld in 1986 and is still available and in use across the U.S. Elefunt Software's popular "RateFinder" shipping software was available for ten years, until the Internet made it obsolete.

Dave is now a new media producer under the Elefunt Music label and has just released the new latin music cd "Agua" by Oakland based Nova Trova. See: http://www.elefunt.com and http://www.elefunt.com/novatrova
