Mad Dog

Mad Dog Productions

Mad Dog has been writing a weekly humor column since 1994 which is distributed largely through AlterNet. It’s appeared in newspapers across the country including the Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, New York Daily News, Boston Phoenix, and New Times. He’s also read them as commentaries on the Pacifica Radio Network

His compilation of humorous travel columns, "If It’s Such a Small World Then Why Have I Been Sitting On This Airplane For Twelve Hours?" is available from Xlibris Corporation (www.xlibris.com), as is his novel, "Skywriting at Night." "Stand Tall", the autobiography he co-wrote of Dr. Isaiah "Ike" McKinnon, the former chief of police of Detroit, was published by Sleeping Bear Press in March 2001. And five of his columns were featured in "HumorUs", an Australian humor compilation. Or humour compilation as they prefer to call it.

He also writes Web sites, won the Virginia Governor’s Screenwriter’s Competition for his original screenplay "Velveeta and the ‘63 Fleetwood Stigmata," created and marketed Earl the Dead Cat and the Silent Vigil Foam Rubber Wind Chimes, produced records, was an on-air radio personality, and sold candles on the streets of New York. Not necessarily in that order.

His popular website, the Mad Dog Weekly (www.maddogproductions.com) features his columns and other silliness, including a series of online games he created like the Plot-o-matic and Porn-o-matic, the fun, silly way to create your own movie plots.

At Digital Be-In 12 Mad Dog will be writing and posting stories live on the netcast portion of the site.
