Suzanne Stefanac - Altar Artist Suzanne Stefanac grew up across the street from a cemetery in Montana, spent a number of years trekking through third world countries, traded a career as a chemist for that of a rock journalist, and then discovered computers. for the past thirteen years, she has spent way too many hours in front of monitors. she is now online executive producer for MSNBC's The Site, a technology-based program that airs nightly. Suzanne is a lapsed catholic. She remembers singing in latin. She also remembers Indian sweat lodges, Mayan pyramids, Incan burials, Nepalese stupas, Sinhalese tree offerings, and gaudy Thai temples. And, oh yes, she remembers acid trips, firing ranges, blue boxes, bleached bones, rusty fences, and dead flowers. She believes all of these are holy.
