Bytes and Sites

Sixties light show pioneer Harold Adler swirls colors over the crowds.

The Digital Be-In is quite a sight, strobing lights, video images blasting off the walls, laser beams shooting out spiraling patterns all amidst the pulse of the music which you feel through your bones. You don't hear this stuff, it just vibrates through your body. When they say what's the vibe, they really mean it. It's non-stop from music to speeches to be-ins and out-of-body experiences. It's the pulse of the tribe gathering its collective energy and sending it out on the Internet.

That's the sights -- and for the bytes we have digital cameras capturing sights on disks which uploads into the Bridge's computer network (transforms audio and video into web pages) where text and photos are massaged into final story. It's the pulse of the moment and if you can't be here -- the web site's the next best place to tune in.
