Power in Mass Communication

Hey, all you geeks and techies ...  DO something!

     Now I know how cyberspace fits into Jerry Brown's plan (check out his Web site at www.wtp.org). You see, the Internet, new technology, computers, in Jerry's eyes are power. It is power because it is mass communication. Mass communication.

     "We will be able to do everything, to really make an impact." However, no matter how wonderful technology is, there are still problems. Not every one has access to the "power." Many people are being left behind. Technology is improving at the same rate that poverty is increasing. The gap is widening.

     The power needs to be accessible to everyone. "All you Geeks and Techies need to take the power and do something! It ain't gonna stay the way it is, so be apart of the change in a positive way!" In other words: All those who have the power share with those who don't have it, so we can make this inevitable change a positive one.
