The first Digital Art Be-In was held on January 21, 1989 at American Zephyr Studios in downtown San Francisco. The event, sponsored by prominent software and hardware vendors, brought together artists, hackers, and industry movers and shakers in a celebration of the new electronic art and design world. A variety of impromptu exhibits and performances marked the evening. |
